霍乱：definition and treatment

- “呕吐而利，此名霍乱。” (line 382)
- “病发热头痛，身疼恶寒，吐利者…此名霍乱。霍乱自吐下，又利止，复更发热也。” (line 383)
Overall the idea is an acute case of vomiting and diarrhea. (line 382)
It may be accompanied by exterior symptoms i.e. 寒热, whether together or (“又”) one after another ( “利止，复更发热也。”)
Treatment:
“霍乱，头痛发热，身疼痛，热多欲饮水者，五苓散主之。
寒多不用水者，理中丸主之。”
If it’s a ‘hot’ 霍乱, use 五苓散. If it is a ‘cold’ 霍乱, use 理中丸. Makes sense.
